MQB Front Strut Brace

The MOB Engineering Front Strut Brace, specifically developed for the MQB Platform, connects the front suspension strut towers to help reduce chassis flex and improve structural rigidity at the front of the vehicle.

With the MQB Platform’s MacPherson-type front suspension layout, significant forces are transferred through the strut towers during cornering, sudden direction changes, and high-load driving conditions. By limiting relative movement between the left and right strut towers, the brace helps maintain a more stable suspension platform under load.

This is designed to contribute to:

• Sharper and more direct steering response
• A more connected front-end feel during corner entry
• More controlled chassis behaviour during quick direction changes
• Reduced flex around the front strut tower area

Hybrid Steel & Aluminium Construction

The mounting plates are manufactured from carbon steel, while the main cross tube is made from aluminium.

This hybrid construction provides strong and durable mounting points while keeping unnecessary weight to a minimum, creating an effective balance between rigidity, strength, and weight.

Custom Powder Coating

Each strut brace is finished with a durable electrostatic powder coating.

The product can be supplied in a custom colour of your choice, allowing it to match your engine bay, exterior colour, or overall vehicle theme.
